Due to the ongoing supply issues for electrical parts, Transland retired the Satloc Bantam,™. There is still a 12-month warranty on new Bantam’s. The end of repair date is December 31, 2023. The end of technical support date is December 31, 2027.
The Satloc Bantam™ provides state-of-the-art GPS guidance for aerial applicators. The Satloc Bantam system includes a CPU with 2 USB drives, a 7″ or 9″ touch screen of customer choice, an A21™ antenna, and an external L7 lightbar. Satloc AirTrac™ guidance software offers key features such as swaths sprayed, field boundaries, skips and overlaps, mark points, waypoints, and polygons. In addition, Satloc AirTrac™ will fly various patterns, such as Back-to-Back and Racetrack, store and transfer log and other data to a USB drive, track acreage sprayed and monitor application rates, and more. Satloc AirTrac™ manages the original “legacy” IntelliFlow™ and IntelliFlow 2™ (IF2) Flow control systems and IntelliFlow 3 (IF3) systems. Manage liquid applications and sprays precise patterns using constant rate control, reducing fuel, flying time, and application costs.

The Satloc Bantam™ CPU is built within a compact, durable case suited to withstand the rigor of aircraft movement. The receiver is a differential GPS (DGPS) receiver that supports signals such as SBAS, L-band, and beacon for superior connection. The touchscreen provides the latest in touchscreen technology—touch to press and access information. View selected data with our rugged, glare-resistant lightbar. The Satloc L7 lightbar has 2 customizable display windows for selected data options such as heading angle, cross-track distance, spray rate, area sprayed, volume remaining, laser altimeter height, and much more.
Additional Tools
MapStar™ is a pre-application mapping and post-application analysis log replay software. MapStar™ allows for import/export of common GIS file formats, such as ESRI Shapefiles, CAD DXF, and MapInfo MID/MIF. In addition, you can view, analyze, and export log data from any Satloc logging product. MapStar™ includes support for variable rate applications and prescription maps. View more here.
